Liam Hemsworth's family finally made a sigh of relief after the actor broke up with wife, Miley Cyrus. Apparently, the actor's family, especially his mother, has been struggling to fully accept the singer to their clan and they have a particular kind of woman that they want for the actor.

Liam stayed out of the spotlight after he and Miley have gone their separate ways in August. The actor filed for divorce a few days later while the "Slide Away" singer moved on with Kaitlynn Carter. However, Cyrus broke up with Carter last month and is now dating Australian singer Cody Simpson.

HollywoodLife cited a source as saying that, during the on-and-off romance of Liam and Miley, his family didn't always approve the relationship. Liam's mother, in particular, is relieved that her son decided to end the romance as the family struggle to give their full vote of confidence on Miley.

The Independence Day: Resurgence actor is now back on the dating game once again as he was recently spotted holding hands with Australian actress Maddison Brown. The two were seen in West Village in New York City last week and also spotted sharing an outdoor lunch date. Liam or Maddison have yet to confirm the status of their relationship.

Is Maddison the one that the Hemsworths want for Liam? Not quite. According to HollywoodLife source, the Hemsworths wants the Hunger Games star to be happy but they have a preferred kind of lady for him.

"Liam's family just wants him to be happy, but they want to see him with someone much more traditional and they won't be happy until he has that," the source said.

Brown doesn't seem to be a traditional girl for the Hemsworths. Though she has a more conservative image on social media than Miley, Brown is extremely independent and it looks like she has a modern state of thinking.

During an appearance on the Zach Sang Show with Dynasty co-star Elizabeth Gillies in July, they played the game "F**k, Marry, Kill." They were given the options Hugh Jackman, Margot Robbie, and the Hemsworth brothers. Maddison said she would "kill" Jackman, "marry" Robbie because she'd like to "f**k her for life," and also gave the same answer to brother Liam and Chris Hemsworth.

Brown started her acting career in the 2004 Australian TV movie, Go Big. She took a long break in acting until she starred in 2015 film Strangerland where she played the role of Nicole Kidman's character's daughter.

In 2016, Brown appeared in seven episodes of the Australian television program, The Kettering Incident. The 22-year-old blonde actress got her big break in Hollywood when she got cast in the reboot of Dynasty. She portrays Kirby Anders in Season 2 of the series and reprises her role in Season 3, which premiered last week.
