Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and the future King of England, has had many women impact his life. From his grandmother and mother, Queen Elizabeth, to the women he married, Princess Diana and Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall.
A body language expert, however, said that none of these women has had a lasting impact on Prince Charles. Judi James said that the real female influence in the future king's life is his sister, Princess Anne.
James said that Prince Charles had a strong mother figure growing up in the royal family. However, he didn't spend much of his younger days with his own mother because she was also learning to be a queen.
Instead, Prince Charles grew up under the guidance of a governess until he was eight years old. He was sent to boarding school from his pre-teens to his teenage years, but he did not enjoy his experience being away from home.
In those times, James said that it was Princess Anne who helped shape the future king, and they still have a close bond after all these years. She was a confident and feisty young woman, even if she was born after Prince Charles. Their father, Prince Philip, also demonstrated such dominance that Prince Charles learned to be dominant in his ways.
James said that Prince Charles the public sees, as demonstrated in his body language, is a product of these influences. His facial expressions and gestures show signs of anxiety and distress but with trickles of a laid-back sense of humor.
Another royal expert said that, because of his closeness to Princess Anne, Prince Charles shares a warm relationship with his niece, Zara Phillips Tindall, his sister's daughter. Robert Jobson said that Zara's bond with the Prince of Wales might be stronger than his relationships with his daughters-in-law, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, since he saw Zara grew up to be a baby and now a mother of two.
When the royal family is together at events, Zara can be often seen next to her uncle. She'll swing her arms around him in a friendly gesture, and she would joke and laugh with Prince Charles.
In contrast, Prince Charles has not been seen sharing the same warmth towards her daughters-in-law, although he is pleasant and friendly when they are around. Zara is also close to Prince Charles' sons given their similar ages. Prince Harry is a godfather to one of Zara's kids.
