Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to reveal the “world of pain” in their upcoming documentary titled Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. The program will be shown on ITV1, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex detailed their recent tour to Africa, and people couldn’t wait to watch it.
The Harry & Meghan: An African Journey trailer showed the couple’s private and sweet moments together. ITV anchorman Tom Bradby said the documentary would reveal a “world of pressure and pain.” It will also show the struggles that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have to deal with living their lives in the spotlight.
Bradby, who narrated the 20-second trailer for the documentary, said that “the story of their time in Africa was one of passion for their work, pride, and happiness but also a world of pressure and pain behind the brave faces.” He, then, added that the Harry & Meghan: An African Journey documentary would give “exclusive access to the world’s most talked-about couple, exploring their compassion and work, alongside the challenges and pressure they face living as a young family on the global stage trying to balance their public duties and private life under media scrutiny.”
The Harry & Meghan: An African Journey is a one-hour documentary and it will be released on Oct. 20 at 9 pm.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently completed their South African tour. But, the success of their trip was overshadowed by the Duke of Sussex’s lengthy online rant. While the royals normally ignore the British tabloids, they finally got on his nerves and decided to do something about it.
The Duke of Sussex didn’t ask any advice from the senior royals and advisers and wrote the letter himself. Prince Harry was so upset with how the media treated Meghan Markle that he sued a couple of publications.
Unfortunately, British tabloids have no mercy on celebrities and royals, so his statement possibly didn’t affect them as much as the prince hoped. The media is a very competitive world. The juicier the headline and content, the more audience they’ll get.
A royal source, then, shared that Queen Elizabeth, who wants to avoid any controversy as much as possible, might not be too pleased with what her grandson did. “This is not the done thing on a royal tour when the principals are representing the Queen and country,” it said. “I can’t imagine the Queen will be very impressed.”
