NCIS: Los Angeles is set to hit another milestone: it's 250th episode. Another good news is it looks like the upcoming NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 special episode will feature Hetty.

In an era of miniseries and reboots, very few TV series are fortunately to reach more than 10 seasons with 24 episodes each, and NCIS LA is one of those. The cast of the hit CBS procedural drama announced that they have done filming their 250th episode.

Series regular LL Cool J took to Twitter to thank everyone who made their new achievement possible. In his post on Twitter, he expressed his gratitude to his co-stars and crew, to CBS, and their fans for tuning in every Sunday night. The rapper/actor also shared a video of the cast while he speaks on behalf of the NCIS LA crew while a huge cake is in front of him to commemorate the special occasion.

What is more interesting in the clip is the presence of actress Linda Hunt, who famously portrays the role of veteran undercover operative Henrietta "Hetty" Lange. Hunt looks great in the clip. This could mean that fans might see more of her other than the 250th episode of the series.

For the past three episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11, Hetty only appeared in the premiere episode. She has been mentioned in other episodes, though.

Hunt also almost missed the entire Season 10 of NCIS LA. She took time off from the show to recover from the injury she sustained when she got involved in a car accident in July 2018. The 74-year-old actress returned to the series on the day of Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Agent Kensi Blye's (Daniela Ruah) wedding last season, which she officiated.

Meanwhile, CBS has yet to give details about the NCIS: Los Angeles 250th episode, but it is expected to be huge or possibly a crossover with Mark Harmon's NCIS. The two shows have had crossover episodes in the past. The last one was in 2015.

In NCIS: Los Angeles Season 7 Episode 5, titled "Blame It On Rio," a prisoner is supposed to be delivered to NCIS Agent Tony DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) custody, but he escaped during a flight. This forced DiNozzo to fly to LA to track down the fugitive. It is one of the hilarious episodes of the series as DiNozzo and Deeks try to one-up each other.

If there will be no break on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 broadcast schedule, the 250th episode of the series could air on December 1. The series currently airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
