Prince Harry was quite emotional and broke down in tears while recently giving a speech at the WellChild Awards in London. As he talked about fatherhood and recalled the time his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, had her first pregnancy, Prince Harry could not help but shed tears in public.

Such a display, however, drew some backlash as critics in the online forum Quora said Prince Harry might have just been influenced by Duchess Meghan. Royal fans think that Prince Harry was only "pretending" to be emotional because he quickly recovered from it.

Some fans also said that it was as if Prince Harry cried on cue. Commenters were quick to blame Meghan Markle, the former TV actress, for this "act" and they believe that the duchess may have even written Prince Harry's speech because he mentioned his wife's name several times.

The harsh observations follow after Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry said in a televised interview that they are struggling with the media scrutiny of their lives. Meghan Markle admitted that she's not quite doing fine behind the scenes and thanked reporter Tom Bradby for asking her about her well-being. She said that "not many people have asked" if she was doing OK in the ITV interview for the documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey.

That coverage reportedly drew apprehensions from Prince William, Prince Harry's brother, per BBC. Palace sources said that the royals are concerned that the Sussex couple is in a "fragile place." They denied, however, that Prince William was angry with his brother for seemingly suggesting in the interview that there's a rift between them. More than anything, the Duke of Cambridge is reportedly worried for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and wondered if they are all right.

Meanwhile, palace insiders also revealed via Evening Standard that senior royals made attempts to help Duchess Meghan. Apparently, they are particularly aware and sensitive to observations and criticisms that the duchess was feeling isolated in the royal family, hence efforts were made to reach out to Prince Harry's wife.

Prince Charles, reportedly, reached out to the duchess several times. They get along quite well and share the same love for art and music so the source said that the heir apparent invited his daughter-in-law to an art opening. Queen Elizabeth also reportedly invited the Sussex royals a number of times in her Balmoral home, which is here family issues are usually discussed.
