Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, doesn't usually write posts on their official Instagram account @kensingtonroyal. She finally penned her first message on the social media platform, which was well-received by followers who also think she upstaged the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle's revealing interview about not being OK amid the public scrutiny.

Duchess Kate shared a series of photos of her visit to the orphanage, SOS village, in Pakistan with her husband Prince William. It showed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge playing, laughing and having a great time surrounded by kids. In the caption, Kate Middleton talked about the importance of family in nurturing, protecting and loving vulnerable children. She signed it off with Catherine, the duchess' first name.

Followers of the Kensington Royal social media account praised Duchess Kate and Prince William for their efforts with the children. They said that the couple are great ambassadors of the royal family as they keep pushing for causes and advocacies close to their hearts.

However, some followers also ignited a debate about the timing of Kate Middleton's post. It apparently coincided with the airing of Duchess Meghan's interview for the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey for ITV.

In it, Prince Harry's wife was nearly in tears when she admitted she's struggling behind the scenes due to the scrutiny from the media. Prince Harry, on the other hand, said that he and Prince William are carrying on different paths so they no longer spend a lot of time together.

Critics of Kate Middleton and Prince William said that they deliberately upstaged and overshadowed Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's revelation by having Duchess Kate write the social media post. Supporters of the Cambridge couple, on the other hand, said that they much prefer Duchess Kate and Prince William to the Sussex couple because they don't have any drama following them. They implied that Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's recent behavior in the public, with the dramatic interviews and tears, were unbecoming of royals.

Meanwhile, Kensington Palace insiders reportedly revealed to BBC that Prince William is worried about his brother and Duchess Meghan. The Duke of Cambridge has concerns of Sussex royals' fragile state and he's hoping they are all right.

The source, however, has no comment about the ITV documentary which charted the tour of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in South Africa. It was also revealed that Prince Charles and even Queen Elizabeth have made efforts to reach out to the Sussexes amid all these rumors.
