Meghan Markle's admission that it's been a struggle to deal with the media scrutiny as a royal and Prince Harry's conviction that he will not be bullied by the media has been the subject of debate for days. Fans cannot help but react and talk about it following the airing of the Sussex royals' documentary interview, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.

On Twitter, a viewer said that she has actively disliked Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan after watching the interview. She thinks there's something wrong with a princess complaining about her privileged life and a prince telling the world he has problems with his brother.

Another commenter said that he felt bad for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but she especially chose to be with a royal. Unfortunately, it's part of their job to be the object of attention and the Sussex couple seems to want only the upsides and complain about the downsides of their status.

A royal source, on the other hand, told E! News that some royals were "fairly astonished" by the very personal interview. Eyebrows were raised when Prince Harry decided to share his feelings about how he and Prince William no longer spend a lot of time together as before when the palace has downplayed these rumors for months. Apparently, there is a "deep sense of unease in the royal households" because of this documentary.

Royal pundits said that Prince Harry has exposed himself by doing the documentary. Biographer Penny Junor thinks it will just "feed the media machine" when Prince Harry stated that this is the very thing he hates the most.

Critics say that the documentary seemed like a Hollywood PR strategy for celebrities. It was as if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ill-advised or didn't heed to the royal adage Queen Elizabeth lives by, "Never complain, never explain."

However, a source close to the couple reportedly told CNN that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were giving honest answers to the questions in the interview. Prince Harry was especially open, raw and candid. If anything, the ally said that the Sussex royals have modernized the monarchy by placing a value on their impact and image.

Prince Harry and Prince William have also reportedly spoken to each other privately amid all the controversy.
