Prince William and Prince Harry had been speculated to not be on good terms for quite a while now. Although their gestures seemingly hinted that they are feuding, there was no confirmation about their fallout up to this writing.
In the new TV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed more than just their trip in South Africa. The royal couple shared some shocking revelations, such as Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud.
Prince Harry was asked, "There's been a lot of talk in the press about rifts with your brother. How much of that is true?" The Duke of Sussex didn’t beat around the bush and directly answered the question.
“Part of this role and part of this job, and this family being under the pressure it's under, inevitably stuff happens,” Prince Harry said. “But, look, we're brothers, we'll always be brothers. We're certainly on different paths at the moment. But I will always be there for him, as I know he'll always be there for me."
Although Prince Harry didn’t elaborate as to how it all started and what really happened, he did admit that they are “on different paths” as of now. This revelation, reportedly, didn’t please their father Prince Charles at all. Also, the Prince of Wales is not too happy that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex somehow undermined the works of the other royals.
“The Prince of Wales is very busy at the moment touring Japan, including a visit with the Welsh rugby team,” a royal source said. “But the point is that this whole kerfuffle has completely undermined the work he is doing, just as it undermined the work Prince William and Kate were doing in Pakistan.”
Shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to separate themselves from the joint charity and set up a new foundation of their own. This led to multiple speculations that the Cambridges and Sussexes are at war.
Many also noticed that the princes are not as close as they were before. Now, many believed that Prince Harry may have disappointed Prince Charles with his recent decisions.
“To do it to your brother is one thing. To do it to your father and paymaster is a completely different matter altogether,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new documentary was well received by fans. However, many were not impressed at all. In fact, per reports, even Queen Elizabeth seemingly shows her discontent with their actions by removing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s portrait from the Buckingham Palace’s Audience Room.
