NCT 127 was tapped as the first Kpop act to perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Nov. 3 in Seville, Spain.

According to a report by All Kpop, NCT 127 announced that they have been invited to perform for the MTV EMAs next month. They will be joining the roster of world-class acts like Dua Lipa, Halsey, Green Day, Ava Max Sofia Reyes, Pablo Vittar, and Jhay Cortez, who will perform for the event.

The SM Entertainment artists invited fans to tune in for the event, which is stacked with music superstars like Ariana Grande, who is nominated for seven EMAs. Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X are also nominated for multiple awards.

The performance for the MTV EMAs will reunite Taeyong and Mark with members for NCT 127 after their jam-packed activities for SuperM. It can be recalled that the two NCT 127 members were tapped by their agency to become part of the new idol group that is co-managed by SM Entertainment and American studio Capitol Records to bring an Avengers concept to Kpop.

Taeyong and Mark's continued involvement in NCT 127 activities will come as a relief for fans who were worried that their participation with SuperM will disrupt the schedules of their original groups.

In an interview before SuperM made its big Hollywood early this month, Mark shared the same apprehension about how the public will receive the new group. "It's a feeling of excitement but also like, nervous, because I am kind of worried about how people would react and how this would come out. It's all so new for even us but let's do it," he said.

SuperM members, who are original members of SHINEE, EXO, NCT 127 and WayV, recently, assured that they will continue to work hard, both as part of their original groups, and as part of SuperM.

SuperM's first mini-album debuted strongly, topping the Billboard 200 Album Chart. This achievement marked the first time a Kpop act managed to achieve the feat, proving the new idol group's strong potential to become big in the US.

After the MTV EMA performance, Taeyong and Mark will have a busy schedule, touring the US for SuperM's first major concerts. The group will perform in Texas, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and New York throughout November. They will return to the US in January to continue their tour in California and Canada.
