Meghan Markle has no right to moan about her struggles as a royal. This is what British presenter Piers Morgan thinks of the Duchess of Sussex's revelation in the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.

Speaking with Us Weekly, Morgan said that Prince Harry's wife must stop whining and get a better sense of reality of her status. The presenter said that the most successful royals, such as Queen Elizabeth and her mother, always understood their duty so they "never explain, never complain" about their life.

The British host also said that Meghan Markle cannot figure out what sense of duty means because she's "trying to be a celebrity" and lecturing people. Morgan said that the duchess must understand her role or stop being an active royal.

Morgan also didn't like when Britain's female MPs, led by Holly Lynch, banded together to write an open letter of support to Meghan while denouncing some members of the press. He said that this was akin to the suppression of freedom of expression and asked Twitter users what reports about the duchess have been unfair and intrusive.

Fans of the Duchess of Sussex jumped at the chance to defend her from Morgan's scathing remarks. One fan enumerated that the tabloid press body shamed Meghan after having her baby and they also compared her son Archie to a chimpanzee.

Worse, they published a personal letter she wrote to her father, which has now become the center of a lawsuit Prince Harry and Meghan Markle filed against Mail on Sunday. Prince Harry said in a statement that he will not be bullied by the kind of media that he also blamed for his mother's death.

Another fan told off Morgan that while he's defending freedom of the press, he isn't condemning the morally questionable ways his colleagues in the media have sourced out stories about Meghan Markle.

Morgan used to be close to Meghan during her days as a TV stars on Suits. Now he claims that he is no longer a fan of the former actress after she allegedly dropped him as a friend when she started dating Prince Harry.

Incidentally, Morgan is also included in the lawsuit that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle filed against two other media outlets, aside from Mail on Sunday. He was the editor of one of tabloids that allegedly hacked phone records of Prince Harry to source out news.
