Kate Middleton's stick-thin figure is always a hot topic among royal fans. While some people are amazed that she has maintained her thin frame despite three babies, there are fans who are concerned that the Duchess of Cambridge might have an eating disorder.
In a discussion on Quora, one fan said that Kate Middleton stays slim because she is an ectomorph. This means that she has a naturally long and lean body that doesn't gain weight like many ballet dancers and models.
The Duchess of Cambridge, however, doesn't look like she's in bad state of health despite her body size. She has glossy hair and some muscles on her thin frame. Her face and skin don't look haggard at all.
Kate Middleton seems to enjoy a zest for food as well. Based on various interviews, the duchess shares tidbits about herself that hints she is someone who is an adventurous eater. For one thing, she especially likes spicy foods with strong flavor than Prince William.
A royal insider told E! News that Prince William will likely not put up with Kate's eating disorder, if he did have one. However, this isn't a problem in their marriage nor on Kate Middleton's health.
Instead, the duchess manages a healthy diet so she's getting all the right kinds of food her body needs. Besides, with her full schedule as a working royal with Prince William, she needs all that energy to be out in public and talking or meeting different people.
It's a privileged that the royals have a chef to cook for them so she and Prince William, as well as their kids, don't often go out for dinners at restaurants or fast food joints. The chef likely creates a healthy weekly menu for the Cambridges.
Kate, however, reportedly prefers to cook the family meals even if they have the help of chefs. She, apparently, avoids using unhealthy ingredients or excessive salt and sugar when she's cooking from scratch.
The duchess is said to be into the Dukan diet, which she started before her wedding to Prince William in 2011. Its focus is on eating low-carb meals, lots of vegetables, fruits or lean proteins.
Fans, however, pointed out that Kate Middleton's sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, has a more realistic post-pregnancy body frame. But, then again, it's also because of genetics as Kate's mother Carole Middleton looks slim all these years while her sister Pippa Middleton, who gave birth last year, has a thin post-pregnancy body as well.
