Joel de la Fuente had previously shared a brief video on Instagram where he discusses what fans can look forward to in The Man in the High Castle Season 4. The Hemlock Grove actor confirmed that there would be major changes about his character in the final season as Kido begins to show the truth about himself. In addition to that, de la Fuente teased that there will be "a lot of personal aspects" to Kido in the upcoming season. This could mean that Kido could finally reveal his only weakness.
In the video, Joel de la Fuente also confirmed that The Man in the High Castle Season 4 will introduce an unexpected character. It was revealed that Kido's son would finally debut in the final season. In his post, de la Fuente shared that his character's son will be portrayed by Origin actor Sen Mitsuji. Interestingly, there are brief moments in the video where the new character is shown interacting with his father.
