The Los Angeles Lakers are off to an explosive start with the historic performance of Anthony Davis. The LA Lakers is one of the teams expected to create serious noise in the West this NBA season. Aside from James and Davis, ESPN's Brian Windhorst Kyle Kuzma and Danny Green are two players that the team could count on if things begin to fall apart.
The LA Lakers suffered an early loss against the LA Clippers during the NBA season opener. According to Windhorst, when things become bad for the team, and it decides to make a move just to save face, it should involve Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma. Danny Green has been scoring on all fronts in this season, and by far, the best shooter in Lakers says the sportswriter.
Green averages 12 points each game and records 50 percent shooting beyond the arc. Kyle Kuzma, on the other hand, has yet to commence his season debut, but he is considered one of Lakers' best isolation scorers. Both players are crucial assets to the Lakers because of their value as a possible trade chip and by their production when they are on the court. Additionally, both names are anticipated to be involved in mid-season trade rumors s NBA teams find ways to fill their rosters.

Lakers' defeat to the Clippers at the season opener has taught them a lot of things. Windhorst states that the team is now looking for a ball-handler and a wing defender. The Clippers took advantage of the Lakers during the game when LeBron spent too much playing as a playmaker and wing defender because its key players are suffering from injuries.
Kyle Kuzma could do both roles that the LA Lakers need, but the 24-year-old is expected to be one of the leading scorers of the team, and giving him these tasks could be a tall order. Anthony Davis' trade made the Lakers weak on playmakers after Josh Hart and Lonzo Ball were moved to the New Orleans Pelicans. The same goes for Brandon Ingram, whom Lakers lost to the Pelicans.

However, Davis' trade has made the Lakers a strong contender to the championship title. Lakers simply need to resolve their other issues like the roster problem. Learning from its most recent defeat, the LA Lakers will be more prepared and more formidable the next time they face the LA Clippers.
