Manchester United could end their losing streak and bag the Premier League title within a couple of years if they replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Massimiliano Allegri. That's what former Juventus Director Luciano Moggi thinks so. The Red Devils had a depressing start to the campaign winning only a couple of games out of eight matches in the English top-flight ahead of their match against one of the league leaders, Liverpool.

Several reports in Italy believe that Massimiliano Allegri and Manchester United have made concrete talks over the past weeks with Ole under extreme pressure. The Italian coach had already revealed his plan of taking a 12-month sabbatical after stepping down as Juventus' coach in the summer. However, many believe that Allegri is so close to being the next Manchester United boss.

On the idea that Massimiliano Allegri is taking over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's post at Manchester United, Moggi told Daily Mail that the Italian coach is the best possible alternative for the Old Trafford at this point. Moggi said that Allegri is far better than Solskjaer and Moyes and will bring United to winning the championship and facing giants like Liverpool, Juventus, Barcelona, and Real Madrid once again.

The former Juventus Director also said that in just a couple of years, he is certain that Massimiliano Allegri would win the Premier League for Manchester United with his leadership. Moreno Torricelli agrees with Moggi's statement and believes that the seasoned Italian coach could win Manchester United the Champions League in just a matter of three years. While the Italian defender considers that it will take time for the team to bounce back, he believes Allegri will succeed.

Meanwhile, earlier reports claimed that Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently sat down with the hierarchy of the Old Trafford, particularly with the Glazer family. The reports stated that the Norwegian coach, along with United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, discussed with the family his future with the team. Ole stated in one of the interviews that everyone is behind the long-term goal that he has planned for the team.

Additionally, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that he intends to fulfill his three-year contract with Manchester United. He shared with SkySports that all the discussions he had with the decision-makers are all about him having a three-year deal. Before ole Gunnar Solskjaer became a permanent coach at United, he broke several records when he was at an interim tenure at the Old Trafford. He was the first Manchester United manager to win his first consecutive matches.
