One of the popular subjects in the world of football these days is the fate of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the Old Trafford. Despite the massive amount of money the Red devils spent the last transfer window on improving their chances of winning, it appears that the new players are not enough to lift the team standing. Because of this many football pundits point the blame to the new coach of Manchester United.
Several reports earlier reported that Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently had a talk with the hierarchy of the Old Trafford. He sat down with the Glazer family together with the team's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to talk about his future with the team. The manager claimed that everyone is behind the long-term goal that he has set and that he was given a three-year contract with the team last march, which he intends to fulfill.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently shared with SkySports that all the talks he had with the owner, the executives, and Ed Woodward are all about him having a three-year contract. The Norwegian coach added that what they are doing right now is long-term planning. Ole noted that he was given a job and if he loses a game or two he does not expect to wait for the call from the higher-ups for assurances.

The Manchester United boss also shared that he is confident that the structure is right from the moment of his stay at the Old Trafford. The Norwegian coach has been in extreme pressure lately after a disappointing start as United's boss. Ole shattered several records during his interim tenure at Manchester United, which includes becoming the first manager of the Old Trafford to win his first six matches.

However, since he started to work permanently as Manchester United boss, the club failed to keep tabs of the teams away wins in all competitions. This season, Manchester United sits at the 12th place in the table of Premier League with only a couple of wins out of eight matches. The team suffered from a no-win run and just recently had another devastating loss to Newcastle United in an away match.
