Recent reports claim that Barcelona is eyeing Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, Tottenham Hotspurs Harry Kane, and Liverpool's Roberto Firmino to fill in the shoes of Luis Suarez. However, it appears that Blaugrana prefers Rashford over Firmino, some reports say. Replacing the legendary player is not an easy task, while these three are the alternatives; Mudo Deportivo claims it was Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe who tops the list.
The list of replacements also includes Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez, but like Firmino, Camp Nuo's radar, there is not much chance of signing up these players. Barcelona's decision to make a long list is deeply motivated by Suarez turning 33 in January. Although the Uruguay international may be approaching the last phase of his career, he remains a productive gal scorer for Barca.
Luis Suarez has an excellent run so far and recently scored a goal from a bicycle kick that gave Barcelona a 4-0 victory against Sevilla. It appears that Suarez has become more refined in his game as he grows older and has become more active in the penalty area while maintaining talent for the spectacular.
Meanwhile, Roberto Fermino has blossomed into a superstar footballer, aiding the Reds to win in last season's Champions League. However, the executives in Barca reportedly prefer Rashford than his Premier League rival. Barca considering Mbappe and Kane to replace Suarez, is an expensive idea. Reports claim that Kane could also be a suitable alternative considering that he is now frustrated because the Hotspurs failed to challenge for silverware.
However, despite his frustrations, Harry Kane is also a reliable source of goals for Tottenham Hotspurs. His skills and techniques would be assets in the Barcelona front, defined by the guile of wide forwards and pace of Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann. The long list of players Barcelona now has only imply that Luis Suarez is a tough act to fill in.

Marcus Rashford, according to some reports, appears to be ill-suited to trying considering that the 22 years old footballer has been an unreliable finisher for Manchester United. Also, he has already inked a deal with the Red Devils until 2023 costing Manchester United £200,000 per week. While Blaugrana is still weighing in their options, it is now pleased with Luis Suarez coming back to his prime form.
The Uruguayan striker has made four goals in his past appearances in all four competitions, including in the match against Inter Milan in the Champions League. Should Luis Suarez continues keeping up his amazing form, Barcelona might hold off signing up a new player to fill his spot.
