Several reports claim that Manchester United has already set the asking price for Alexis Sanchez. The Red Devils are going for a massive rebuilding job that could cost them a fortune. The team should also let go of some of its players and get fresh ones according to pundits.

Manchester United is attempting to cut ties with Alexis Sanchez next summer in the hope that it could bring a devastating spell at the Old Trafford. Sanchez moved to Inter Milan on loan for the next season after he failed to show the playing form he has shown while he was with Barcelona and Arsenal. Now, Manchester United is setting an asking price for the Chile international of £25million.

Alexis Sanchez is one of the top earners in Manchester United, raking a ridiculous salary of £500,000 a week. However, reports claim that the Red Devils do not consider getting him back despite that he has three more years left on his contract. This season, Manchester United has struggled in attack because Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez moved to Inter Milan.

The team was not able to find players who could replace Sanchez and Lukaku's performances. Meanwhile, former United player Lee Sharpe believes that ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs more than £300 million to rebuild the team. Sharpe shared to talkSPORTS recently following United's drop to the 12th post in the Premier League table after suffering a 1-0 defeat to New Castle.

There have been calls for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's resignation from the club during the break. Many are expecting that a new manager will be handling the team when the Premier League returns. However, according to the former United player, getting rid of another coach will not totally solve the problem, which the club has been doing for years.

Sharpe noted that the last three United managers, along with the last three ways of doing things, have not at all worked. He believes that beyond the managers, the team should look at who is giving orders to appoint the managers and who is running the whole team from the top. Sharpe believes that there is another way of solving the issues at United.

Meanwhile, Manchester United should get Harry Kane from Tottenham to improve its attack, Sharpe urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Harry Kane could cost the Red Devils around £200 M or £220 M. But he could give the team 25 goals per season, which as of the moment, Manchester United badly needs.
