The much-awaited undercard fight between Ruiz and Joshua 2 is happening soon. The World title bout that will feature four versions of the crown for the top division is scheduled to happen in Diriyah in Saudi Arabia on December 7. English sports promoter Eddie Hearn wants a 200 pound plus favor and is trying to secure a world-ranked match.

In his interview with Daily Mail, the English promoter said that Saudi seems like Michael hunter vs Alexander Povetkin. It is worth noting that Hunter and Povetkin are both on the top 15 list and are in the line for a shot at the world title. In other words, it is going to be a significant match if nailed down.

For the rest of the boxers on the bill, Hearn said that a Liam Smith vs. Jessie Vargas match, Jono Carroll vs. Scott Quigg and Filip Hrgovic against an unknown opponent could be a possibility. Since the fight is going to be in Saudi Arabia, the English sports promoter admitted that they are willing to switch venues in the event of security issues or if the fighters could be in harm's way. The increasing concerns in the region have triggered them to secure assurances and plot out alternative venues.

Hearn admitted that they have made contact with Saudi to inquire if everything is okay and they got a positive response. It is going to happen in the scheduled venue considering that the area that was attacked was far from Diriyah. Hearn also revealed that the Foreign Office already advised them to travel with caution, the same advice they got when they go to Mexico.

In his most recent press conference, Saudi Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, the chairman of the GSA was excited to host the Ruiz and Joshua 2 fight. He said that boxing is one of the sports in the Kingdom that is gaining traction. The Saudi Prince stated that the upcoming event is the Kingdom's way of telling the world what Saudi Arabia is and he is hopeful that everyone can visit and witness the fight in one of the special palaces in the region.

Saudi Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud also said that he is looking forward that all who will come to watch the Ruiz and Joshua 2 fight will experience something that they had not yet experience in other boxing venues. He also revealed that the region would have an easy procedure so anyone could apply for a VISA and visit Saudi Arabia.
