Filming could then end by August of the same year, and considering possible reshoots, the new season might not be ready in time for the end of 2020. Although it's disappointing news, there is still a chance that fans will not need to wait for too long for Season 4. There is a possibility that the long production is because there will be two seasons being filmed in the next year. This means that the fourth season can be completed earlier and air before the end of 2020 while the cast and crew are still filming Season 5.
There are several theories about Stranger Things Season 4, including the possibility that Jim Hopper is still alive.
