Unai Emery seemed to be out of luck these days with the current standing of Arsenal in the league. But, his troubles are not only limited there because even a greeting for his birthday backfired and was transformed into a protest for his exit from the team. Arsenal's recent game with the Wolves resulted in a 1-1 draw, which earned boos from fans.
The official Twitter account of Arsenal posted a birthday greeting to Unai Emery on November 3. The post greets the Spanish coach on his 48th birthday which has more than 13,000 likes and over 5,000 comments. But fans made fun of it and made the greeting a venue where they called for Emery to be ousted as Arsenal's coach.
The fans' reactions, which are far from celebratory, are understandable considering the team's feat with the Wolves last Saturday. Unai Emery sadly witnessed how the Gunners throw away its lead against the Wolverhampton Wanderers and how the supporters booed the squad off at the Emirates stadium. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang assumed the position of captain in the absence of Granit Xhaka and managed to get a goal for the team.
Raul Jimenez erased the lead and the game ended 1-1 draw. The result left the Gunners fifth in the Premier League, which is still fine at this point. But, it also means that Arsenal only won a couple of games out of its last nine league matches and the pressure is mounting for the Spanish coach.

Unai Emery has been heavily criticized by Arsenal supporters as being too cautious sometimes in the campaign. Some supporters claim that the 48 years old professional football coach was not able to let his squad create a massive amount of clear chances in games. Aside from the recent #EmeryOut campaign made by fans on Twitter, several reports are claiming that Arsenal is now considering Jose Mourinho to replace Unai Emery.

Over the weekend, several sites reported that the former Manchester United coach was seen dining with Arsenal Head of Football Raul Sanllehi to talk about the possibility, which was immediately denied by the Gunners. Meanwhile, a Twitter survey was made last Saturday evening following the Gunners' game with the Wolves. The poll earned 43,000 votes just before midnight and revealed that 90 percent of Arsenal fans want Unai Emery to be sacked.
