Prince William and Kate Middleton are proud parents to their three young children -- Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1. But, since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had always said that they are open to a bigger family, the mother-of-three had been consistently speculated to be pregnant with their fourth child.
Now, royal fans are not only convinced that Kate Middleton is pregnant, but they now claim that they know when she will be due. On the online forum site Quora, a netizen said that there is a high chance that the Duchess of Cambridge is already pregnant, but Buckingham Palace is just waiting for the right time to make the official announcement. Some suggested that her due date will be next spring.
The early trimester is quite delicate as there is a possibility that the pregnancy will not pursue due to medical reasons. So, an announcement is not expected during these months. In fact, Kate Middleton’s pregnancies were only announced after she reached the end of her first trimester.
However, some royal fans pointed out that Kate Middleton’s stomach area is still very tiny. If she is due next spring, then she would have been in her third month of pregnancy right now, but there is no sign of it.
“Hasn't it been a few months since those rumors first hit the tabloids? Her waistline still looks slim, and I haven't noticed anything looking remotely like a bump,” one fan wrote. “Perhaps she is lucky and doesn't show until far into the pregnancy.”
Since the Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors have been going on for a while, people have started to look for signs to confirm the speculations. According to royal expert Aranzazu Santos López, the Duchess of Cambridge is giving two clues that she is expecting baby number four.
“I have two clues that make me think Kate is pregnant. We would love to see that confirmed,” she said. “What are those clues? Look at these recent images of the return to school day. Look at Kate’s hair. It has a different air. Highlights or new color, we don’t know yet, but it’s lighter, like a dark blonde.”
Santos Lopez, then, added that the other clue is that Kate Middleton is taking time off. Since the Duchess of Cambridge had difficulties during her previous pregnancies, the royal expert took this as a sign that she is taking a break so she could get enough rest.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the Buckingham Palace have not addressed this matter. Just like most speculations regarding the Royal family, this has yet to be verified.
