The royal family is known for ignoring all the criticisms that they got and are still getting from the media. However, it seems that the British tabloids have finally got on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nerves that they decided to sue a couple of publications.
This action shocked a lot of people as Queen Elizabeth had always tried her best to avoid any sort of controversy. With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle putting up a fight against the media, it was seen as not royal-like, garnering them more hate than sympathy.
Now, people are claiming that Meghan Markle should be the one to blame for all this fiasco. Before she joined the royal family, Prince Harry never had a major issue with the media to the point of suing them.
With that said, many believe that, even though the Duke of Sussex is obviously privileged, he never used his title to complain about anything. But, now that Meghan Markle is a part of his life, they suddenly fought back against the media.
“We need to be aware that Harry has NOT made any complaints about the media,” one royal fan wrote on the online forum Quora. “It’s Meghan Markle who is making the complaints, but using Harry as her mouthpiece, to deliver the message for her. Unfortunately, the weak and vulnerable Prince Harry falls for this every time. He is completely helpless and under her control.”
Many believe that the harsh criticism that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing now is all because of the former actress. They think that, even if the Duchess of Sussex married Prince William and not the younger prince, she will still receive the same treatment from the media.
“This is her narcissistic personality disorder kicking in,” the fan continued. “Her sense of high-importance and her desire for attention and admiration has enveloped Harry and the Royal Family. She acts selfishly and believes she is more entitled to things than other people. She doesn’t care how foolish she is making Harry look, as long as she can fantasize about unlimited success.”
One netizen pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are certainly not the only ones who are facing backlash from the media as Prince William and Kate Middleton also experience the same thing. But, what made the Cambridges and Sussexes different is how they deal with it.
