Based on claims, his religion, for 30 years now, has been denying him to see Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise, especially the latter. There were no explanations and confirmations about the matter. Even so, this has been the most possible reason as per sources.
According to Hollywood Life, experts on cult education, like Rick Ross, revealed that Scientology's ideologies are likely the basis as to why Tom Cruise would not establish any connection with his daughter. As it happens, it is possible that the actor classified Katie Holmes as an "SP" or "Suppressive Person," and Suri Cruise as a "PTS" or "Potential Trouble Souce."
It was further explained that people who have these classifications should be disconnected from the members of Scientology. The policy was revealed, and called "Disconnection Policy."
Accordingly, this might be the most plausible case as to why Tom Cruise is not allowed to see Suri Cruise, as well as his former wife, Katie Holmes.
Whatever the reasons are, recent reports, however, have been claiming that the Mission Impossible star is finally quitting Scientology for good. As revealed by the sources, Tom Cruise recently saw a photo of Suri and realized that he has been distant and "absent" for most of his daughter's life.
So, now that "she's all grown up," it might be just fitting to finally see her and be the father that she needs since then.
The source further contended that this might be the "perfect opportunity" for Tom Cruise given that Katie Holmes is now single. Accordingly, he could then come back to their lives as Katie's partner and Suri's father.
