Manchester United has already identified eight transfer targets for the January transfer window according to reports. Most Likely, the Red Devils will let United coach's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer invest this winter following a mediocre performance at the Premier League this season. Manchester United is currently sitting nine points away from the top four.
Over the past couple of months, speculations are rife about the eight transfer targets that have been associated with Manchester United. This includes Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic and RB Salzburg Erling Nraut Haaland. ESPN recently reports that as part of the club's preparation for the upcoming January transfer window, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently identified the eight transfer targets that he would like to bring at the Old Trafford.
It appears that the Norwegian coach is planning to bring in more young footballers to Manchester United given his list. These new players will add to the list of young Man Utd players like Daniel James, Hary Maguire, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. But, the club still needs to reinforce its attacking side after Ander Herrera, Alexis Sanchez, and Romelu Lukaku left.
Reports claim that Manchester United is eyeing England winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund along with Haaland from RB Salzburg. The Red Devils are reportedly preparing a £185million budget to secure both players. Haaland just turned 19 years old and has already made 26 goals in 18 matches across all competitions.
Under Manchester United's radar for the January transfer window is Aston Villa duo Jack Grealish and John McGinn and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson. The striker from Bournemouth will contribute to the attacking power in the front line of Manchester United. However, Wilson might come with a hefty price above his head.
Chelsea tried to sign a deal with Wilson last summer but it failed. Manchester United showed interest to John McGinn last transfer window for a £50m deal but manager Dean Smith reportedly will not easily let go of the Scottish midfielder without a good fight. Grealish is a logical signing to the Manchester United squad considering attacking midfielder Andreas Perriera is having a hard time making an impact under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Additionally, James Maddison of Leicester City is on the transfer target list of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Declan Rice of West Ham and Moussa Dembele of Lyon are also being eyed to be a part of Manchester United. It appears that Manchester United is prepared to shell out a hefty amount of cash to complete its team.
