Fans want SM Entertainment to stop the rotational system for NCT Dream to keep members from graduating from the group.

According to All Kpop, forums were filled with complaints from NCTzens with four members set to graduate from NCT Dream after The Dream Show in Seoul. During the concert, NCT Dream members reportedly became emotional on stage because the show was the last time they performed as a group. Four of the members -- Haechan, Jaemin, Jeno, and Renjun -- are scheduled to leave the group and graduate in 2020.

Fans expressed worry about the future of Jaemin, Jeno and Renjun because apart from NCT Dream, they had no fixed unit. It was unsure how the three members would promote next year after they leave NCT.

Supporters who were present at the concert observed that there was a gloomy vibe all around the arena because even the audience was heartbroken by the imminent departure of the four members of the team. Some said that the concert felt like a disbandment ceremony with the majority of the members departing.

NCTzens sounded off on message boards and called out SM Entertainment for using a rotational system for the NCT 127 subunit. Fans said that the system was absurd because of the timing of the members' graduation. They criticized the exposure for being too short because NCT Dream members were forced to leave the group as soon as they started to develop their fanbase.

Fans also questioned the effectiveness of a graduation system because it did not bode well for the fandom. They said that the graduation system was detrimental to building strong support for NCT Dream.

Some felt sorry for the members whose futures remained uncertain after they graduated from NCT Dream. They felt that SM Entertainment was squandering a lot of talent by making the members leave before they were ready.

Some fans suggested that SM Entertainment should give members a chance to decide whether they want to graduate  because some might opt to stay in the group. They also demanded transparency from SM on what the agency planned to do with the graduating members.

Among the members of NCT Dream who has previously graduated from the group was Mark. However, Mark was still a member of NCT 127 and was also tapped to become part of SM Entertainment and Capitol Records' new idol group Super M, Metro reported.
