For months, rumors have been rife that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is pregnant with her second child with Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. After the couple declared that they want two children at most, insiders have been saying that Meghan may be feeling the urgency to have another child.
Meghan gave birth to Archie at 37 and turned 38 three months after her first delivery. According to NHS, women who get pregnant at a later age are at higher risks for health problems and complications. With her biological clock ticking, is the Duchess of Sussex feeling the pressure to give Archie a sibling?
A pregnancy expert, however, revealed to Daily Express that the Duchess of Sussex must not be pressured to get pregnant so soon. Katherine Graves said that Meghan still has plenty of time to have another child and could bear another baby by the time she is 40 years old. For now, what's more important is for Prince Harry's wife to give her body a chance to recover from the first pregnancy.
Graves said that plenty of women in their '40s had successful pregnancies and deliveries. Thus, Meghan should not feel any pressure to get pregnant so soon.
Besides, Prince Harry's wife is a likely to have the best medical care when they decide to have baby number two. So, even if a late pregnancy has its risks, she will have the good doctors and hospital staff caring for her.
The expert also said that the Duchess of Sussex might already know about letting her body recover since she is a health, fitness and wellness buff. For this reason alone, Graves think that Meghan will have a pretty straightforward pregnancy when that time finally comes.
However, royal fans are convinced that Prince Harry might be eager to have a new baby sooner rather than later. In a recent royal outing, the Duke of Sussex apparently asked a mother what it's like to raise more than one child close to each other's ages.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan joined their son for a playgroup session near their home in Frogmore Cottage. According to People, the Sussex family had a great time as Archie tried to crawl and socialized with two red-haired babies.
Previously, Meghan revealed that Archie has been going to playgroups with his mom. This recent outing, however, was the first time Prince Harry joined his wife and child but there were also apparently other dads at the session.
