Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is a big fan of repeating outfits. On a recent royal outing to the opening of a children's hospice centre in Nook, Prince William's wife wore a recycled vibrant fuchsia Oscar de la Renta peplum ensemble, which she once wore in 2017.

The mother-of-three completed her brightly colored outfit with a pair of black opaque tights. According to Cosmopolitan, Kate also wore opaque tights when she donned the outfit for her visit to the Royal Opera House a couple of years ago.

Kate might have chosen the ensemble to keep her warm against England's colder weather this season. But the duchess' style choice might have broken protocol yet again.

Apparently, while there are no official rules on how royals must wear hosiery but the Queen usually prefers nude or skin-colored stockings. Thus, when a royal like Kate, or her sister-in-law Meghan Markle, opts to wear dark tights, some royal observers call them out for breaking protocol.

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter, however, told Insider that perhaps the only steadfast rule about hosiery is that a royal should never be caught wearing no stockings at all. Meghan surprised a lot of royal fans when she didn't wear any stocking, skin-colored or otherwise, during her engagement announcement with Prince Harry in 2017.

Meanwhile, Kate also stunned the crowd at another royal outing when she stepped out with a black Alexander McQueen long-dress with intricate lace patterns. According to People, it seemed fitting for the duchess to pick this dress this week when she and Prince William are celebrating the ninth year anniversary of their engagement.

Kate also wore a similar McQueen lace dress for her wedding to the second in line to the throne. The night was made even more special because it was apparently date night for the Cambridge couple after weeks of royal engagements and parenting duties.

Speaking of parenting roles, Kate apparently enjoys taking her youngest child Prince Louis to a music class every week. Sources said that mother and child have fun singing and dancing together among other children and their parents.

A source said that during the class, Kate can get quite stuck in and into the music. The Heigh-Ho sessions are said to be quite popular as there is a monkey puppet encouraging the children to dance and sing.

According to Daily Mail, Kate and young Prince Louis could be enrolled in the Heigh-Ho classes for children over 12 months old. Prince Louis is currently 19 months.
