Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have been dating for more than a year now. Many are wondering if the Titanic star already pops the question to his model-actress girlfriend.
Reports have it that Morrone has been waiting for DiCaprio to propose, and he allegedly did recently with the help of his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood co-star Brad Pitt. According to OK! Magazine, Pitt gave DeCaprio some tips on how to propose to her girl in the most romantic way. The outlet added the Ad Astra actor is also planning his friend's bachelor party.
Another tabloid, In Touch, also previously suggested that Morrone is already losing her patience in waiting for her boyfriend to propose. The actress allegedly wants DiCaprio to put a ring on her finger, but the actor refused. She is now dropping all sorts of hints for DeCaprio to finally realize that she is ready to walk down the aisle.
Gossip Cop busted both stories. The outlet noted that Brad Pitt did not help The Revenant actor in his proposal to Camila as no such thing took place. The site also reached out to DiCaprio's rep who denied reports about the alleged engagement or wedding plan of the actor.
Earlier this month, E! News also cited a source as saying DiCaprio is committed and serious about his relationship with the 22-year-old model-actress. However, getting married is not on top of his priorities at the moment.
"He is very serious with Cami and has been for a while now, but marriage is not something that is on the horizon," the insider said.
Meanwhile, Morrone is not shying away on defending her boyfriends from critics. DiCaprio was previously tagged as "Instagram boyfriend" on social media when he was spotted taking photos of the Mickey and the Bear actress at the Cannes Film Festival. Camila reminded those who gave such comments that his 45-year-old boyfriend is also an award-winner actor and a respected environmentalist.
Camila also clapped back to haters who left comments on her Instagram post of late Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart. She captioned, "A love like this," referring to the age gap between Bacall and Bogart. Like the famous couple of the 40s, she and DiCaprio also have over 20 years age gap.
DiCaprio and Morrone first sparked romance rumors in December 2017. Months later, they were spotted together at Coachella Festival.
