Amid the controversy surrounding Prince Andrew's links to the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, his daughter, Princess Beatrice, is preparing for her big wedding day to property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Though Buckingham Palace has yet to release the wedding's official details, there have been questions on whether Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will be able to walk his daughter down the aisle or not.

Following the backlash of his interview with BBC the other week, Prince Andrew has decided to lie low in public. Does this mean that his daughter's wedding plans could change as a result? So as not to draw more heat, will Prince Andrew decide not to walk his daughter on her wedding day?

Last year, Prince Andrew walked his other daughter, Princess Eugenie, when she married Jack Brooksbank. However, since their wedding happened way before the Epstein scandal heated up, things today changed for the Yorks.

According to Daily Express, if Prince Andrew won't walk Princess Beatrice down the aisle, she has two uncles who can take her father's place and do the honors -- Prince Charles and Prince Edward. It won't also be the first time in the royal family where the person who walked down the bride was not her father.

In 2018, Prince Charles walked Meghan Markle when she married Prince Harry since her father, Thomas Markle, could not make it to the wedding. There doesn't seem to be any royal protocols broken if this were the case for Princess Beatrice as well.

Princess Beatrice announced her engagement to Mozzi in October 2019. There is still no exact date of the wedding but there are speculations it will happen in early 2020.

Meanwhile, Metro reported that Princess Beatrice recently visited her father after he was not seen at the funeral for a family friend. The Duke of York's daughters were present at the funeral, along with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

Princess Beatrice was also spotted smiling with her fiancé at an event in Piccadilly. She looked like she's not bothered by the reports concerning her dad because Metro said everything at the Yorks is still "business, as usual, ."

However, it was believed Princess Beatrice told her dad not to do the interview with BBC, which turned out to be a train wreck. Organizations and institutions that supported the royal family threatened to withdraw if Prince Andrew remained in his patronage.
