Ben Affleck has no plan to turn his back on their family tradition of spending Thanksgiving day together. It was contrary to rumors that the Batman actor is planning to ditch his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their kids on the holiday.

It was earlier rumored that the Gone Girl actor is traveling to the Bahamas where he will celebrate the holiday. The National Enquirer reported that Garner is taking their kids to Boston to visit her sister. Affleck, on the other hand, is allegedly sailing to the Caribbean because he feels he needed a break after working so much.

The outlet added that the Alias actress is worried about her ex-husband that he could stay sober while on vacation. However, Garner is allegedly done with intervening in his life. The actress has also been a major support for Ben as he deals with his addiction to alcohol.

Affleck had a relapse during a Halloween party in Hollywood. The actor clearly regrets his action as he was seen visiting Garner the following day. Affleck confessed to the relapse and assured his fans that he remains optimistic about his future recovery. The actor also affirmed his renewed commitment to his sobriety.

Meanwhile, the rumor that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor is spending Thanksgiving in the Bahamas has proven as false as the actor has been spotted with his family ahead of Thanksgiving Day. Affleck and Garner were out and about in Los Angeles a day before Thanksgiving. They were photographed with their kids and Ben's mom, Christine Anne Boldt while on their way to a movie theater.

Despite their split in 2015, Affleck and the Love, Simon actress always celebrate the holiday together. Last year, they took Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, seven, to Montana. The year before that, the Afflecks celebrated in Los Angeles along with Ben's mom.

Both Affleck and Garner have a busy 2019. The actor starred in two movies this year: the Triple Frontier and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot with his best friend Matt Damon. He will appear next in The Way Back, and will also co-star with Anne Hathaway in The Last Thing He Wanted.

He is currently filming the thriller Deep Water with future Bond girl Ana de Armas. Affleck will also return in the director's chair for the war drama Ghost Army and the remake of Witness For The Prosecution.

As for Garner, she did voice roles for the animated film Wonder Park and Netflix's Llama Llama. She is currently filming comedy Yes Day. Jen will also star in and executive produces the series My Glory Was I Had Such Friends for Apple TV+ and will also lead star in comedy film Fantasy Camp.
