One of the heavily speculated and much-awaited game is the "GTA 6." But, after countless leaks and speculations, Rockstar Games has not made any statement or confirmation that the next instalment to its popular "Grand Theft Auto" series is in the works. Fans fear that the game developer already abolished the game, but a new report claims that fans have to wait a bit longer before they could get their hands on the much-awaited game iteration.

In a recent report released by Daily Star, it reveals that Rockstar Games has no plans of moving away from "Grand Theft Auto 5" and "Grand Theft Online." It has been six long years since the gaming studio rolled out "GTA 5" along with "GTA Online" and it appears that it still has a lot of things to offer to gamers. Both games are currently raking in cash and from a business perspective, no one wants to kill the goose that lays golden eggs.

PCGamer recently shared that Rockstar North Co-Studio Head Rob Nelson told them in an interview that more "GTA Online" content will be released in the game in the months to come. Nelson said that Rockstar Games have a lot of brand new ideas, and after six years of being in the market, the team is grateful to everyone who has been with them along the way. Rockstar Games is not slowing down the momentum of a strong game despite fans' request of releasing "GTA 6."

In the company's Q2 financial report, it was stated that "GTA 5" has achieved another milestone by having sold 115M copies. Rockstar Games will continue to push more content for the game as long as it stays popular. Having a captive player base connotes more profit.

Releasing "GTA 6" will simply undermine this. The studio head has not explicitly revealed the details of the content that Rockstar Games is planning to roll out in the coming future. But, with the way nelson describes the content, we could assume that it is going to be a year's worth of new downloadable content.

For playing itching to get their hands on the highly speculated "GTA 6," just wait a bit longer. Soon, Rockstar Games will reveal something about the next iteration to its popular "GTA" franchise. Meanwhile, all other leaks and speculations must be taken with a pinch of salt and with skepticism. "GTA 6" is rumored to release on next generation gaming consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett.
