An individual who was accused of leaking CCTV photos that sparked the rumor of Jungkook's affair was handed over to the prosecution. The leakage happened in September, causing a controversy over BTS member, Jungkook.
The Gyeongnam Geoje Police Station announced on December 2nd that two people including karaoke staff in Geoje City were sent to the prosecution last month for alleged violations of the Personal Information Protection Act.
The police had previously received a complaint filed by the singer's agency, Big Hit Entertainment, and launched an investigation.
Karaoke staff have been accused of posting CCTV photos on Internet portals when Jungkook, who was on vacation in September, visited a karaoke in Geoje.
The pictures were posted and Jungkook were under a heated attention due to the rumor of his affair with one of female companions.
Big Hit Entertainment said in an official statement that "the claims related to Jungkook are absolutely untrue."
