Meghan Markle may be dealing with a lot of negativity lately, but that doesn’t mean that there will be no positive vibe in sight at all. Recently, the Duchess of Sussex received some love from a Toronto-based charity that she volunteered with when she was still working on the American legal drama television series Suits.
St.Felix Centre is one of the Instagram accounts that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle follow on the platform. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex follow different accounts every month, and St.Felix Centre is one of those this December.
The non-profit community center in downtown Toronto then took to Twitter to share something about Meghan Markle. It wrote, “many people here have fond memories” of Prince Harry's wife, adding that they nicknamed her “the lovely Meghan.” The organization then added, “We’re happy to see she continues supporting vulnerable people now as a member of the Royal Family. We’d love for her to visit us again one day.”
This sweet nickname is quite the opposite of some previous reports claiming that Meghan Markle is hard to work with. This speculation started when the Duchess of Sussex’s staff has high turnover rates.
Meghan Markle lost three employees within the span of just a few months in the spring of 2019. While there is no proof that the wife of Prince Harry is hard to work with, her employees dropping like flies are convincing enough for a lot of people to believe the rumors.
Despite these negative comments, Meghan Markle still tries hard to do a good job as a member of the royal family. People look up to the royal family, and they want to be inspired by them, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took time off from their six-week break to relay a message on social media.
Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took to Instagram to remind everyone to be kind. The post then shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be doing a “Twelve Days of Christmas” event, where they select twelve organizations to help with, such as Shelter, The Trussell Trust, Centrepoint, SSAFA, the Salvation Army, and Social Bite.
“With the festive holiday season upon us, it’s also a reminder to reflect on those in need – those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones,” the post read. “It’s an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness.”
