His Dark Materials episode 6 is almost here, with the title "The Daemon-Cages." This episode might be the most crucial one for Lyra as she needs to save herself. She's been captured and uncovered some of the activities of the Gobblers in the North. The stakes have never been higher and she needs to do everything she can in order to escape.
In His Dark Materials episode 6, Lyra discovered that the Gobblers are doing "science," which is measuring dust and figuring out what will happen when they take Daemons away from their owners. They are doing some sort of sacrifice, and they probably believe they're doing it for the sake of "greater good."
Aside from saving herself, Lyra also needs to save all the kids from the Gobblers. Considering the events in the previous episode, she needs to do everything she can to save everyone. Lyra has been on a long journey ever since the season started and some people want to harm her rather than to protect her.
Mrs. Coulter, for instance, while she may not be part of the Gobblers' activities, she still has a role to play in Lyra's life. It's hard for Lyra to trust all the people around her, so what she needs to do now is to save herself and the children, and do her best to escape from the Gobblers.
The Gobblers hold a lot of secrets; they're picking random kids and doing something weird with them. The truth behind all their activities will be revealed in the upcoming episode. It's also very apparent that Lyra's in trouble since she's in a weird camp, so she needs to protect herself.
However, this isn't going to be easy for her, especially since the facility is heavily guarded. In addition, it's even harder for her since it's very separated from almost everything. Lyra is alone in her journey and she's absolutely in danger and there are some creatures out there who want to harm her.
His Dark Materials episode 6 will test Lyra's mettle, and whatever happens here will likely play out in the season finale. The series may leave a huge cliffhanger, making it even more exciting. The good news is that His Dark Materials has been renewed for a second season. Thus, the series will bring more mysteries and adventures in the future.
