Sony Interactive Entertainment has been providing the gaming community with selected official information and hints about its next-generation gaming console, the PlayStation 5. However, the Japanese console maker has not yet shared any images showing what the upcoming console would look like. Following the alleged leaked 'actual image' of the PS5 Dev Kit and PS5 DualShock 5 Controller, a new video surfaced online showcasing both the dev kit and the next generation console controller.

The first time we saw the dev kit was through a patent filing shared by LetsGoDigital. Later, the Dutch site shared the render of the alleged PlayStation 5 developer's kit. The render was eventually confirmed by a game developer who claims they have the same dev kit in their studio.

But, several sites recently reported about an alleged 'actual' image of Sony PlayStation 5 and DualShock 5 controller. The dev kit sports its distinctive V shape with grey and black color combination. The PS5 DualShock 5 controller, based on the 'actual image', does not show a lot of improvements, and it resembles a lot like the DualShock 4.

Concept Creator, a digital renderer, recently shared a concept video showing the PlayStation 5 along with the PS5 DualShock 5 controller. One striking aspect of the latest concept video is the swapping of the touchpad for the touchscreen of the DualShock 5 controller. According to earlier rumors, the next generation gaming console controller for the PlayStation 5 will have a flatter but more extensive touchscreen.

It looks like a larger Nintendo DS with the secondary screen that could be utilized to provide in-game details, as seen in the previous heads-up display. However, the creator of the video failed to include the rumored Share Button on the PS5 DualShock 5 controller. According to Concept Creator, he tried to introduce a sleeker design while keeping the cooler vibe that would complement the more powerful gaming console.

One of the recurring rumors about the PlayStation 5 is that it will have massive banks of memory on its Solid State Drives. Because of this, the next generation gaming console is expected to house an advanced cooling mechanism in order to keep the console running. The latest PS5 and DualShock 5 concept videos have an interesting design, and many fans will be pleased if the actual PlayStation 5 will be released exactly just like this.

However, we would like to remind you that this is not an official video of the PlayStation 5 and DualShock 5 controller but just a concept. The PlayStation 5 is slated to arrive sometime in the holiday of 2020. Meanwhile, check out the concept video below.
