At the end of each year, Instagram users are treated to its #bestnine feature where the most popular posts for the year are rounded up by the app to collect in a single collage display. This year proved to be BTS V's year as BTS' official Instagram account showed that almost all of its best nine posts involved the vocal powerhouse.

According to a report by All Kpop, out of the nine images on BTS' best nine posts, V was featured in seven. He was in six group photos, as well as a solo shot where he appeared thoughtful with his midnight blue hair.

Apart from the #2019bestnine, V's images also dominated the top nine most liked photos on Big Hit Entertainment's Instagram account. Kim Taehyun's images were also the most popular in the VT Cosmetics page after the brand's collaboration with BTS.

Aside from appearing on the most liked list of Big Hit and brand accounts, V also showed his strong presence in entertainment and award accounts like TCCandler, Korea Dispatch, Kildren, Starmometer, Entertainment Awards, and even the personal account of Hollywood photographer Sam Dameshek, after he featured some snaps of their hang out session in the US.

It comes as no surprise that BTS V is dominating Instagram because of his strong following among global fans. In fact, V's fans in China managed to collect more than 3 million RMBs (USD $462,000) or 500 million won for their Project Vionysus to celebrate the idol's birthday.

According to another report, the fans are expected to celebrate Kim Taehyung's amazing accomplishments in China on his 24th birthday on December 30. Among the highlights of the celebration will be an awareness campaign of V being a consistent topic on the Top 100 Weibo Star List for the whole year. His topics on Weibo were also the highest charters and most followed, discussed and viewed by Chinese netizens. His posts even took the Top 2 spots in the most liked posts in the BTS official Weibo account.

However, BTS V's influence in China goes beyond Weibo. This year, the BTS member was certified with the highest Aiman Commercial Value Index. His selling power in China for his Tata character also had the highest sales volume.

For the past four years, Chinese fans have not failed in raising at least 1 million RMB for his birthday projects, and this year, fans truly came together to give the idol a celebration of their love for him.
