Gwen Stefani can pull off any outfit and makeup. But her choice of dress and overall look in the finale of The Voice Season 17 made her look more stunning and elegant.
Stefani rocked an off-shoulder teal mini dress with some feathered fabric design. She paired it with thigh-length boots.
The No Doubt singer also kept his makeup to a minimum yet it highlighted her facial features. Her blonde hair was tied up in a bun. Gwen also wore thick black mascara and light pink lipstick and blush for a softer look.
Gwen shared on Instagram some photos of her in the little feathered minidress while sitting on the red chair for the show's finale. One of the snaps showed the "Baby Don't Lie" singer smiling directly at the camera while she displayed her side profile in the second photo.
She also shared a clip of how she choose the mini dress. The video also featured her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, who apparently "created" the dress.
The clip opens with Gwen shuffling through a rack of clothes looking for a perfect high-fashion outfit for the finale. Then Shelton comes in, channeling Karl Lagerfeld.
After rejecting most of the dresses in the rack, Blake decided to create new designs for Gwen including a cowboy chic outfit and several Christmas-theme costumes. In the end, Gwen chose the gorgeous mini dress and thigh-high black leather boots.
Meanwhile, The Voice Season 17 finale is packed with performances from Dua Lipa, Jennifer Hudson, Lady Antebellum, and more. The four finalists of the season are Rose Short, Ricky Duran, KatieKadan, and Jake Hoot.
Gwen's finalist is Rose and she is campaigning hard for her. The "Used to Love You" singer has served as a coach in the four seasons of the singing competition but she never won one.
Her fellow coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend have won in the past. Shelton has a commanding six wins under his name, Clarkson has two, and Legend has one.
If Gwen will not win this season, she may not get a chance in Season 18. Stefani won't be back next season. Nick Jonas will be taking over her chair.
But The Voice Season 17 won't be the last time that fans would see Gwen and Blake together on TV. The couple is set to perform at NBC's New Year's Eve 2020. Stefani and Shelton are expected to sing their Christmas song, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" as well as their recently-released track "Nobody But You."
