It seems former KARA member Gyuri's relationship with her boyfriend is going strong as the couple posted a cute shot of their date night at the UNICEF's Children's Thanksgiving Night.
According to a report by All Kpop, Gyuri posted the shot on Instagram where she posed with her boyfriend with a Christmas themed backdrop. Netizens were happy to see the happy couple spend time together after Gyuri confirmed her relationship with Song Ja Ho three months ago.
It can be recalled that reports surfaced in September where the couple was spotted stepping out for dates. The pair was seen during a date in Gangnam and Jamsil after having dinner in Cheongdam-dong. Gyuri and Song Ja Ho confirmed that they were dating on October 1st.
According to a report by Koreaboo, Song Ja Ho was the oldest grandson of the former president of Dongwon Construction, Song Seung Hun.
The couple reportedly met at a Jon Burgerman exhibition at the M Contemporary Art Center in Seoul last June and clicked because of their mutual love of art. Gyuri and Song Jan Ho started seeing each other soon after and developed their relationship from their first meeting.
Fans cheered on the relationship, even though Gyuri was seven years older than the 24-year-old chaebol.
Following KARA's disbandment in 2016, Gyuri has been focusing on acting projects instead of music.
In 2016, she appeared in the drama Jang Youngsil: The Greatest Scientist of Joseon and starred in films like Two Rooms, Two Nights, and How to Break Up with my Cat.
In 2017, she appeared in the drama, Lovers in Bloom. From 2018-2019, she was also cast as part of the highly successful Jang Nara drama, The Last Empress.
Even though her career and personal life are thriving, Gyuri recently paid a heartfelt tribute after news of her former KARA member, Goo Hara's passing.
In her lengthy message, Gyuri shared her grief at the sudden loss of her good friend and said that there were many more words that she wanted to say to Hara, who died at the young age of 28.
"I still don't know what's what. It doesn't feel real, and I feel stunned, but I think this might be better than thinking too deeply. From the way you know me, I'm not someone like this. Would it have comforted you a bit more if we had recognized that we are both weak?" she said, as she prayed that her friend would find peace.
