Melania Trump may look mum while in the White House, but her unauthorized biography reveals otherwise. CNN correspondent Kate Bennett revealed in her unauthorized biography, Free, Melania, the unknown life of the First Lady of the United States, from her wealthy life to her power and influence that are even far greater than that of her husband, President Donald Trump.
In an interview with The Cut, Bennett revealed that her book explored the true "power and influence" of the former fashion model over the POTUS, his family members, and the administration itself. Hence, according to the reporter, the FLOTUS doesn't care what people think about her.
"Not only did Melania have power and influence with the President, she perhaps had more of both than anyone else in the entire White House," Bennett told the publication. "She doesn't care what anyone thinks about her."
If people are assuming that Melania Trump is complicit in Donald Trump's beliefs and actions by being and staying married to him or thinking that she is standing by his side because she is following a traditional marriage, it doesn't matter to her. She is living a "wealthy woman's life," and it is basically what she is: a wealthy, stay-at-home mom who has three homes.
With the exposes of the unauthorized biography, Bennett assured that she didn't "pull any punches" when she wrote it. However, it seemed like it couldn't be helped that the White House was upset about it.
She even had a theory that some of the White House's criticisms about Donald Trump's coverage came from Melania Trump herself. Bennett continued to say that a source told her that the East Wing was upset about her report on Melania Trump getting booed in Baltimore.
Hence, she knew she had to be careful of everything that she would publish; especially Melania Trump only had a small circle. Donald Trump's wife only has about three people around her. Although there are certain things that will be an interesting story to tell from her pals, she just can't simply include it in her book.
Because Melania Trump only has select friends, she will know who told her the scoop, and it will surely damage their friendship. Despite her eagerness to make Free, Melania interesting, Bennett didn't want to destroy someone's life, friendship, or the job just because she wanted to do her own thing. However, she assured that the book didn't give anyone any favors, and its final version would be a "big surprise."
