There are so many ships in the K-pop world, which are mostly created by fans, and sometimes the idols made it themselves. Some are quite serious, while most are just pure bromance.

But on Bon Voyage Season 4 Episode 5 Story Untold, RM and Jimin took things to the next level and convinced themselves that J-Hope is in love with one of them. Although the scene was supposed to be about V calling out for J-Hope to check out his decoration inside the tent, RM and Jimin’s side conversation appeared to be juicier than the actual scene.

While sitting around the campfire, the BTS boys discussed almost anything under the sun, or moon for that matter. Then all of a sudden, V yelled at J-Hope from the tent. “Hyung! Hyung! Hobi-hyung!” he shouted.

But J-Hope was busy talking with Jin, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook that he wasn’t able to hear V’s persistent calls. Finally, he heard him and obliged to his request to go inside the tent.

While this was going on, RM and Jimin were having a conversation of their own. “Why, what’s so funny?” Jimin asked. “I’m telling you — he likes you,” RM replied.

It seems that Jimin knew what RM meant and he even agreed with him. “Yeah, I think that hyung is in love with me,” he said. Then RM assured their hunch, “Yeah, he loves you.” (Watch the clip here).

Although RM and Jimin didn’t say which “hyung” they were talking about at the time, clever ARMYs figure it out anyway. Since RM didn’t say the word “hyung” but Jimin did, they were convinced that the pair meant J-Hope.

“If RM is calling him by name but Jimin is calling him hyung, the 'he' must be J-Hope!” one fan wrote. “I was curious about this too, so I’ve watched it over and over. I think J-Hope was smiling at Jimin even before he started talking. When Jimin realizes that, he starts talking to J-Hope,” another one shared.

J-Hope and RM were both born in 1994, which means RM didn’t have to use honorific even though he’s seven months younger than J-Hope. As for Jimin, he is required to call J-hope his “hyung” as he is born in 1995.

So if you put the clues together, it makes a lot of sense that RM and Jimin were talking about J-Hope. Of course, knowing their humor, the pair was probably just goofing around. However, it is worth noting that J-Hope does love Jimin a lot. But as for being “in love” with him? That’s a completely different story.
