The Seoul-based tech and electronics giant Samsung is one of the tech companies leading the charge with 5G connectivity in smartphones at present, and it seems that it will be extending the next-generation network connectivity to its tablets. Despite other companies dropping the tablet market, Samsung is one of the few plowing ahead with innovation for the particular market segment. A new report claims that the South Korean tech juggernaut seemingly announces on its company's official website the arrival of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G.
SamMobile first spotted the listing of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G on the company's official Korean website. It underlines that aside from the device arriving in the market very soon, it would be the first-ever tablet to have 5G support and faster connectivity. Samsung, however, fails to mention the listing the price, specs, or release window of the upcoming tablet apart from the 5G description.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G has long been rumored, especially when it allegedly passed the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. There is a chance that the 5G version of the tablet would be fundamentally similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, which was launched in Sept. 2019. The standard tablet houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, which makes it possible for the company to include a 5G connectivity network support on the upcoming model.

Presumably, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G would arrive first in Korea and probably expand to other countries over time. Rumors have it that the upcoming device would carry the model number SM-T866. Earlier this year, several indicators were present, hinting on the 5G version of Samsung's flagship tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G would beat its rivals like Huawei, which is also rumored to launch a tablet in the tablet segment. Several reports surfaced a few days ago, claiming that Samsung might unveil Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite at the CES 2020. Techradar thinks that Samsung might unveil the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G at the same event next year.

There are also rumors that the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant would hold a special event in Feb. 2020 for its upcoming flagship smartphone series, the Samsung Galaxy S11. It could be another potential event for the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G.
