Kate Middleton is always seen in her best self in front of the cameras. But sometimes, she is being photographed in the corner is her most relaxed moment away from the paparazzi lens like a photo of her with her dog Lupo that was shared in an Instagram fan page.
In the photo, Kate is captured sitting in the woods while cuddling her dog, Lupo. The Duchess of Cambridge is wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and knee-high boots. She is seen seated in a big trunk while embracing Lupo.
Royal fans gushed about how good Kate look in the photo. Some commented that it is one of the instances that may be hard for Kate to find considering her royal status.
"So tranquil - probably a rarity in her life," one fan wrote.
Lupo joined the royal family in 2012 and he was a gift from Kate's brother, James. The English Cocker Spaniel reportedly keeps Kate a company while William was away in the Falkland Islands for six weeks.
Lupo has a special relationship with Prince William and Kate's eldest child, Prince George. The little prince was once photographed feeding Lupo an ice cream on his third birthday.
But Lupo is not Kate's first dog. Prince William's wife used to have a Golden Retriever, named Tilly. The pooch was featured in William and Kate's family portrait with Prince George after he was born.
Kate's love for dogs also shows in her public appearances. Earlier this year, the Duchess of Cambridge visited Lavender Primary School in London and received a warm welcome not only from the students but also from the school cockapoo dog, named Herbie. Kate was seen kneeling down to give the pooch a pat while Herbie put his paws on the Duchess' arm and sniff her bouncy hair.
Last year, the mother-of-three royal was also photographed during the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Aldershot, England giving a shamrock to an Irish Wolfhound, named Domhnall. Middleton, who was eight months pregnant with Prince Louis at the time, was photographed petting the dog.
Kate is not the only one who loves furry pets. William and their kids do too. Aside from Lupo, they also have the hamster, Marvin. In 2016, Kate revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a pet hamster and Charlotte, in particular, adore Marvin because his whiskers tickle her cheeks.
