Prince William wants to make sure that his children will grow up with compassion to less fortunate people and they would understand their situation. In BBC TV special, the Duke of Cambridge revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have show concern to less fortunate people.

In the A Berry Royal Christmas TV special, William revealed that when he drives his two kids to school, they saw some people sleeping on the street. Both the young royals attend Thomas's Battersea school.

George and Charlotte would ask their father why these people can't go home and sleep in their beds. William said he makes sure to explain to his children the plight of the people on the street. The second in line to the throne is a patron of the homelessness charity Centrepoint.

In his visit to the homelessness charity The Passage during the TV special, William told Mary Berry that the charity for the homeless was one of the first places that he visited when he was between 8 to 10 years old. William said the experience left a huge impact on him.

He also opened up about how his late mother Princess Diana introduced him and his brother, Prince Harry, into the world of those with less in life. He said the Princess of Wales took them to a homeless shelter when they were young.

William explained that his mother knew that it is important for him and Harry to know that there is life beyond the palace walls. Diana also explained to them why there are people who are not living comfortably like them.

In the TV special, William along with his wife, Kate Middleton, also teamed up with Mary Berry to give a special party to the staff and volunteers of several charities and organizations. The couple thanked them for working tirelessly over the holiday season.

It seems like this is the same values that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been introducing to their three children. Kate added that it is also important that their kids will grow up independent hence they let them do their thing in the house.

Kate revealed William loves to take his turn in the kitchen and he is the master in making breakfast. She said during their university days, the future king usually cook different kinds of meals. Kate jokingly said this is the time William tries to impress her.

Meanwhile, the Cambridges are set to celebrate Christmas at Sandringham with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and the rest of the royal family. Reports indicate that George and Charlotte will also be making their first public Christmas appearance this year. The siblings will attend church on Christmas Day with their parents while Louis will stay at home with Kate's parents as he is still young to do royal duties.
