ARMYs all around the globe are in a celebratory mood because of BTS V's 24th birthday. On December 30, it came as no surprise that Kim Taehyunng topped worldwide trending topics for the hashtags #HappyBirthdayTaehyung, #BornToVLoved, #HappyVDay, and #HappyTaehyungDay.

To celebrate his birthday, fans took out giant advertisements at New York's Times Square to greet V a happy birthday and a happy new year. The ads were on display from December 30 to 31. V stans in Malaysia also rented a giant billboard to greet the BTS member in Kuching, Sarawak, All Kpop reported.

Kim Taehyung also had a huge LED billboard lighting up the LOTTE Young Plaza back home in Seoul. Fans were also treated to a bombardment of V's images when they stepped into the subway as Seoul's Metro Line 3 which was dominated with greetings and V's beautiful visuals.

Fans in China from @KIMTAEHYUNGBAR also sponsored the first full cabin support video for Asiana Airlines' flights, making V the first Kpop idol to have an air support video. The large scale preparation of Chinese fans was part of its Project Vionysus for Taehyung's birthday.

Apart from the cabin support video project entitled Triumph in the Skies, fans also took 13 million full-page ads to greet V across 25 publications. This phase of the project was called Mark of the Golden Age, referring to V's rise to fame.

Fans also sponsored the largest subway support ad in history by lighting up 1899 LED screens in Seoul's subways under the City of Thousand Stars project.

Apart from the Times Square billboard, V will also be featured in five major screens in Hollywood for the fans' La La Land project. V's fans also sponsored trucks at the recent Jingle Ball Event.

All the hype for V's birthday should not come as a surprise because even before Christmas came, Chinese fans have already been celebrating his birthday with drone displays spelling out their greetings for their beloved Kim Taehyung in China.

They also co-sponsored the 2019 Seoul Christmas Festival and had an entire section devoted as a special purple zone in honor of V's birthday. The event started last December 13 and is expected to last until January 1.

Fans have been raving about the painstaking effort that V's supporters have put into the planning the display which showcased an entire row with V's name in purple color and hearts that symbolize their love for him, Koreaboo reported.
