RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook returned to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest to kick-off 2020. This is such a huge opportunity for the BTS boys, not only because they get to perform in the very popular and much-awaited New Year celebration, but they get the chance to perform in front of international ARMYs outside the concert arena.
With that said, BTS wants nothing but the best for their ARMYs and went to the rehearsals as quickly as possible. Although RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have performed their songs numerous times, they still have to practice, especially their blocking, as every event has a different style of venues.
But BTS don’t just rehearse as a group, they do practice alone or by pairs at times. For their pre-Times Square performance, Jimin was busy practicing alone before joining the other boys.
This was at this moment that Ryan Seacrest attempted to have a fun moment with Jimin by dancing and following his moves. However, the BTS star was so in the zone that he didn’t notice the famous radio personality, television host, and producer behind him.
Since Jimin was looking down, he had no idea what was going on or what was Ryan Seacrest up to. So when he was done with his solo practice, he headed to the rest of the BTS boys, leaving the American host all alone and looking awkward.
Being the professional that he is, Ryan Seacrest looked at the camera and said, “got this,” as if nothing happened. (Watch the clip here).
As expected, ARMYs found the quick incident pretty funny, especially because they know that Ryan Seacrest was probably expecting a fun interaction with Jimin. “The way I cackled!” one wrote. “Jimin said ‘stay unbothered’ lol” another one shared. “Haha so cute!” one netizen commented.
One ARMY then pointed out that Jin was “keeping a watchful eye on this man.” Since he is the oldest member of BTS, Jin couldn’t help himself but always keep track of where the rest of his members are.
Since he knew that Jimin was a few feet away from them, he made sure that the younger one is safe by keeping an eye on him and the people around him. Although RM was also doing a little practice on his own, he was near the other members, so Jin was not as concerned.
