The tourist destination that tops CNN's list is Hong Kong. Despite the political issues and problems that arose in 2019 in the region, the place still became the most frequently visited destination with a staggering number of visitors, which is about 26,716,800. Though the number of tourists is still high, all the risks and dangers of the place especially when it comes to its visitors, caused the rate to decrease by about 8.7% as compared to 2018's 30 million visitors.
The next destination that tops the list is Bangkok, Thailand with over 25,847,800 arrivals just last year. Its vibrant street life, ornate shrines, and wonderful and colorful culture are what captures the hearts of its guests to visit Thailand's capital.
Travel Triangle shares several places that tourists often love about the place. Some of those include Wat Arun, Grand Palace, Jim Thompson's House, Lumphini Park, Chao Phraya River, Wat Pho, and Chatuchak Weekend Market. Aside from these places, there are still a lot of others that are perfect even for kids such as the Safari World, Dream World, Dusit Zoo, and Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World.
The third in the list is England's capital, London, where about 19,559,900 people have visited last year. With its artistic structures and amazing historical places, tourist can't help but fall in love with its beauty. Some of the most visited structures in London are Big Ben, Tower of London, and Tower Bridge.
Aside from these three, other places that are included in the list are Macau, Singapore, Paris, Dubai, New York City, Kuala Lumpur, and Istanbul. Delhi, Antalya, Shenzhen, Phuket, Rome, Tokyo, Pattaya, Taipei, and Mecca, on the other hand, complete the list.
