Angelina Jolie is allegedly planning to attend the upcoming Golden Globes just to mess up with her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his rumored lover Jennifer Aniston. Both Pitt and Aniston are nominated in separate categories while Jolie is not nominated in any category.
Rumors have it that the Maleficent actress is planning to attend the award show just to mock Pitt and Aniston. Pitt is nominated for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood while Aniston is for her role in Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. The ex-couple has rumored to have rekindled romance recently.
Brad and Jen sparked romance rumors after they spent a couple of times together this year. The Ad Astra actor attended a Christmas party at Aniston's house recently. He was also present during Jen's 50th birthday earlier this year.
Heat claimed though Jolie isn't up for an award, she was invited as a presenter. The actress is reportedly no intention to miss this opportunity.
The insider alleged that Angelina will show up at the Golden Globe because she is fed up being painted as the villain. Jolie reportedly wants to change the narrative of what is expected to be another Brad and Jen reunion.
"Ange can't help but feel that Brad and Jen's rekindled friendship is payback from Jen, who always blamed Ange for the breakdown of her marriage to Brad. Angie is certainly not intimated by them," the source said.
Gossip Cop dismissed Heat's report as totally false. A source close to Angelina Jolie's camp confirmed that the story is nonsense as the Salt star has no plan to crash the Golden Globes to ruin Pitt and Aniston's night.
The outlet also noted that this is not the first time that Heat reported Jolie is seeking vengeance on Pitt and Aniston. A couple of months ago, the tabloid claimed Angelina is making a movie with Aniston's ex-husband, Justin Theroux, to get revenge on the Friends actress. The movie did not happen.
The tabloid also claimed in 2018 that Aniston and Jolie will have a "face-to-face" showdown at the Golden Globe. Both actresses did attend the award show in 2018 but they never had an encounter during the event.
Angelina Jolie attended the show with her son Pax Jolie-Pitt. Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, skipped the red carpet but presented the award for best actress in a TV musical or comedy with Carol Burnett.
