For years now, George Clooney has been living with chronic back pain. But a tabloid claimed Clooney's condition is worsening and it is allegedly because to his wife, Amal Clooney.

The Ocean's Eleven actor had an on-set injury while filming his 2005 movie Syriana after e did a stunt but it had gone wrong. It resulted to a serious spinal injury which Clooney is enduring up to now.

He previously opened up about the chronic effects of the injury, which includes migraine. The pain has lessened over time, but Globe claimed Clooney is in bad shape again following his scooter accident in Italy in July 2018.

Apparently, this incident has aggravated the actor's old injury. Globe claimed Clooney's pain has intensified to the point that there were instances that he can't get up from a chair without crying in pain.

The Globe cited an insider who claimed George's pain has been affecting the Argo actor and has been putting a strain on his marriage. Their friends are reportedly concerned that the couple's marriage wouldn't survive. The source also alleged that Clooney has already stashed a big portion of his $500 million fortune in secret bank accounts so his wife won't get it in case they ended up in a divorce.

Gossip Cop noted that there is nothing true about Globe's story. The site noted that Clooney only suffered minor injuries during his scooter accident in 2018. His spokesperson said in a statement that the 58-year-old actor underwent an MRI following the crash, but the scans showed no issues.

He was released from the hospital and recovered from his minor injuries just fine. This means the scooter crash didn't aggravate his earlier back injury.

Globe also claimed the Clooneys' marriage is in trouble because Amal got tired of her husband's silly jokes and she often scolds him for partying too much with Cindy Crawford's husband, Rande Gerber. Gossip Cop pointed out that the rumor about George's chronic pain is causing trouble in his marriage is hard to believe if it also claimed that the actor is also partying around with his friends.

Gossip Cop stressed that there is no indication that the actor is in debilitating pain as he is currently in the U.K. filming his Netflix movie Good Morning, Midnight. He stars and directs the movie.
