Blue Bloods season 10 hiatus has ended and the series is coming back on CBS. There are a lot of stories worth exploring this season, but Jamie and Eddie's storyline proves to be one of the most interesting plots. Once the series returns on the small screen, viewers will see the couple facing some problems.
In some of the recently released photos of Blue Bloods season 10, it looks like Jamie and Eddie were fighting over something. Jamie is finding more ways to make money and his solution is to take more work and reduce his 10-year plan to pay off his student loans to a five-year plan.
As for why he has debt, it has something to do with him going to law school for years -- though he's not using the education now. Eddie offers her help but Jamie resisted. He refused his wife's help since they'll use her father's money, and there are questions about where that money comes from.
Eddie's intentions are good; she wants to assist her husband since they're married and starting a future together. However, Jamie isn't really up with the idea and it looks like he wanted to get more control over his life. This may cause some troubles between them and their relationship might get complicated.
But while Jamie doesn't seem to agree with Eddie's suggestion, they could still compromise and find ways to solve their issue -- after all, they have been through a lot. And though this particular storyline is compelling, some still want to see Jamie and Eddie back out in the field together.
In another report, Lou Diamond Phillips returns in Blue Bloods season 10. The actor will reprise his role as Luis Delgado in episode 12, titled "Where the Truth Lies." In this episode, he tells Baez and Danny he'll only testify against his former cartel if they're going to protect his son.
One of the interesting things about Luis is that he isn't a typical Big Bad since he's willing to collaborate with Danny. Right now, however, the future of Phillips's character within the series is still uncertain. It's yet to be seen whether there are more stories to tell after what viewers saw in the previous season.
Meanwhile, Blue Bloods season 10 is returning on CBS this Friday, Jan. 3. The next episode will then be aired on Jan. 10. After that, there's no new episode on either Jan. 17 or Jan. 24, which only means the new episode is arriving on Jan. 31.
