Crisis on Infinite Earths is returning within a few weeks and it will conclude the crossover events in the Arrowverse. The fourth and fifth parts will set up some big stories and will answer some of the questions during the crossover. But perhaps, one of the most interesting parts here is that the Anti-Monitor's story will be revealed before the event ends.
To understand the Anti-Monitor's present in Crisis on Infinite Earths, we have to understand what he has gone through the past. In the fourth part, viewers will have the chance to see stories focusing on Monitor/Anti-Monitor. This is also the biggest episode so far for LaMonica Garrett as an actor, since he's portraying two different powerful characters.
Some of the photos teased the latest look of the Anti-Monitor when the crossover event returns, and he looks imposing enough. As the crossover event is nearing its conclusion, the backstory of the Anti-Monitor will be explored. Also, he hasn't had full or even half-season to operate -- than other Big Bads -- so he needs to find ways to make an imprint.
It's interesting to see the origin story of Anti-Monitor, considering that he had such a huge impact on most of the superheroes in the crossover event. But aside from this storyline, Crisis on Infinite Earths will also see Supergirl, The Flash, White Canary, and others finding ways on how to take back what they've lost. While they're unified, things wouldn't be easy due to the threat brought by the Anti-Monitor.
The most exciting part of the crossover event is that Olive Queen a.k.a. Green Arrow comes back -- yet he becomes something else. The character's appearance only makes sense since the fourth part is basically an Arrow episode. In the final episode of the main series, it was also revealed he's still out there. Now, the question is how he survived and where he was all the time.
As for the final part of the crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths' synopsis didn't give much detail but noted: "Worlds lived, worlds died. Nothing will ever be the same". The episode is an installment from Legends of Tomorrow, though the particular links of the crossover events to the shows are yet to be seen. Considering that this is the ending, then there'll probably some unexpected twists here.
The fourth part of Crisis on Infinite Earths is set to arrive on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 8 PM, while the fifth and final part will air on the same date at 9 PM on The CW.
